Forum?

I am proposing is that 1 night a week we host a guild Neverwinter night. I've been talking to a few people in mumble about this, and I think the interest has been positive. What this would entail would be a few members playing the role of a rotating GM, using the foundry system to create a campaign for us to play through as a guild. The intent of this would be to get a tabletop D&D type atmosphere game going, inside an MMO.

While the guild members are running through the dungeon the GM can chill out on mumble and Roleplay the team through it, or the GM could play a character in the group, the options here are kind of up to the GM running the event on the given night. The two major hurdles in the way of this is that all of the group members need to be the same level or within a level of each other.

The foundry system doesn't scale your level up to the highest level character in the party. I see two different ways around this. Either we require that anyone participating in the event be level 60, so that everyone is on equal footing. Or we can ask that you reserve 1 character slot for the Guild Neverwinter nights, that character would not be played outside of the guild neverwinter nights (thus we level up as a group), with the exception of someone who missed a night leveling to catch up to the group. I personally think Option two would work best, as we would grow our characters together.

And it would add to the back story of our little troupe of adventurers. But the downside of this is everyone would have to give up a character slot for this. The 2nd problem is that groups are limited to 5 members. So unless we have two groups running, this would be a 1st come 1st serve type thing, unless someone else can come up with a better way to run it. Anyways, I would love to hear the guild's thoughts on this. Feel free to chime in.

Hmm Neverwinter Night Forum When It Comes Out For Machines

I can't speak for the other people playing on Beholder with me, but I started playing the game about 8 hours before I left on a 7 day long cruise. I had asked several times during the beta if anyone was going to be playing, and never got any interest back from the guild.

So I just picked a server and rolled up on it. Came back from the cruise and found that the guild had actually started playing, but was now on the different server. Eventually they will be combined, but for the time being I just deal with it. I think my rogue just passed the guy I was kind of competing with to become the best geared rogue on the server. Just to toot my own horn.
